This book reminds me of how Harland Sanders started his first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise at age 64. It is a reminder that it is never too late to venture into the things that you have passion for. This is a very good recommendation, and your review does a good job of explaining what to expect from the book.

The book sounds intruding as it covers a very important topic frauds, which are growing day by day. Additionally the review is well written.

"Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh

"Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh is an inspiring and heartwarming tale that proves life can indeed begin at 70. The story follows Salvatore, a retired restaurateur, who finds new purpose in Florida. Meeting Mona leads to the creation of Senior Recovery Services (SRS), an organization dedicated to helping defrauded senior citizens. Walsh skillfully blends romance, adventure, and cultural richness, making this book a delightful and engaging read.

Sal and Mona's journey from friendship to partnership in crime-fighting is both endearing and motivating. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is filled with unexpected twists that keep readers hooked. The cultural references, particularly to Italian cuisine, add an extra layer of enjoyment.

"Easy Marks" is a must-read for seniors, tech enthusiasts, and anyone who loves stories about love, adventure, and justice.

I agree with you. Even though I hadn't read the entire book, I was hooked within the first few pages. The story flows effortlessly, making it an easy read. I like that the story "creates awareness of the gimmick the fraudsters use and how to outsmart them," as you have said in your review. I enjoyed reading your review and can't wait to finish the book.

Thank you for your thoughtful review on "Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh. Following in his parents' footsteps, he retired from the restaurant business after 25 years, leaving its management to his sister Sophia. He decided to travel down to Florida to enjoy life after retirement. He meets Mona and together they form a service that help seniors who have been scammed. This sounds like an interesting read and it is temporarily free on Amazon. I have put it on my shelf and look forward to reading it. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Have online scammers ever scammed you? Do you know people who have been scammed? This book is about how a retired person opens an organization to get them their money back. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes.

The primary protagonists in the book are rich retirees from Florida, and their goal is to help friends who have been duped online. They embarked on a quest to right the wrongs done to their friends with the aid of some tech experts. The book examines technology, companionship, and the capacity of older people to stay strong in the face of modern challenges.

From the title and cover the story is not what I expected, but at the same time when understanding the story the title makes perfect sense. I like the idea of the plot and hopefully, it plays out as well as I hope. I'm not sure why Sal’s parent's backstory is needed so much though, unless it comes into play later.
