Although I don't usually prefer to read steamy romances, I would like to read this one as it has the touch of thriller that interests me.

The mix of suspense and romance sounds intriguing, especially with the dynamic between Cammy and Grant. I’m curious to see how Cammy’s skills as a Private Investigator play out and what twists await in the search for Paula.
I believe in something greater than myself.

This review makes Murder Among Friends sound like a gripping blend of crime thriller and romance. I love how you highlighted the witty dialogue and Cammy's sassy personality. I can't wait to dive into this story and see how the mystery unfolds.

This book seems like a good crime thriller and the storyline is suspenseful with depth, which I enjoy. There are some aspects of the storyline that I find uncomfortable, but I will still give this book a chance and see how it goes. Thank you for the review.

I totally enjoy crime and romance novels, and this will be a good read. And also, the story plot sounds interesting, and I really want to know what happened to Paula.

Sounds interesting, starting with a quite catching title and appealing description, it leaves no chance to pass the book, even though I am a bit hesitant regarding sexy romance part. I don't like them, but then again, it has become the norm for any book to include sone nowadays.

Murder Among Friends by Linda J. Burson is a captivating mix of crime thriller and romance. Private Investigator Camille Thurston helps her brother search for a missing woman, falls for the woman's husband, and navigates tensions with a nosy neighbor. Adding it to my reading list. Congrats on BOTD!

I'm impressed that the reviewer found the book to be a 'well-paced novel' with a 'suspenseful journey' despite the present tense narration, which can sometimes be a barrier for readers. The reviewer's enthusiasm for the twists and reveals has piqued my interest, and I'm curious to see how the author resolves the mystery of Paula's disappearance.

This review is great and goes into details on the overview of the book. I didn’t enjoy the book as much because of the writing style. Like you mentioned it was written in the present tense. Some of the sentences were also written in the past tense so it was a bit difficult to follow in the beginning. To me it felt like a narration instead of an actual novel. Overall this review is great and encompasses what the book is about.
