O K Johnson wrote the book "The Move." This book demonstrates that God's written word can be trusted and leads our lives even when we make incorrect choices. It is a book that proclaims, "You, too, can have an unforgettable and personal encounter with God." O K Johnson is a retired professional award-winning journalist, former small business owner, and route manager who enjoys studying the Bible, riding motorbikes, and playing the keyboard. This book follows a five-year journey of faith, confidence, apprehension, frustration, anger, repentance, forgiveness, and rebuilding as God calls them to a new state. The couple almost loses everything, but God's protection safeguards them.

The book, The Move, is about two regular Bible-believing Christians who intimately connect with Jesus and respond to God's call. This novel is about two people who try to obey God's commands. How can we know it's God speaking and not our own emotions? How can we trust God with everything? This was part of the struggle. In this book, the author describes how we prepared, the guidance God gave, the vision, blessings and missteps, rage and frustration, repentance, reconciliation, prayers of restoration, and relationships we formed in response to this call. This is a book that contends that you, too, can hear God's voice and calling. God also communicates with us through people as well.

The author proficiently clarified that it is not a question of "feelings" when it comes to hearing what God is saying. Even though we could think God is guiding us in a particular way or instructing us on how to solve a particular issue, feelings are purely emotional and circumstantial.

You will be secure if you base everything you do on God's written Word. Because feelings are irrational and derived from our deepest wants, they have the potential to cause mistakes. Because we are humans and want to feel good, especially when making difficult decisions involving other people, feelings can lead us astray. God commands us to verify everything with members of the church, which is the body of Christ, and through the written Word. Everyone aspires to love and acceptance for their true selves. Jesus treated everyone in that way. Though He didn't embrace their lifestyles in the same way as the adulterous woman in John's Gospel, He did show kindness, empathy, and consideration for each person as an individual. I gained a lot of knowledge from this book.

The author discussed their experiences as churchgoers and the many situations they faced. We had to ask God for guidance on everything. Even the smallest details hold God's attention. That's a portion of what we say to Him. Prayer is the dialogue with the Almighty. We had conversations that otherwise would not have happened about our beliefs and philosophy of life. It fits into the relationship-building role that Christians are expected to play. When all else seems unattainable, God will occasionally urge us to respond by putting our trust in Him.

The pair had been brought together by God to support one another. They were aware of the problems and the pain. Abraham's narrative and theirs were alike in that God promised something that could only be fulfilled by faith and God fulfilled the promise. They knew they had to trust and obey Jesus, even though it was a dark moment and difficult to see what He desired. That appears frequently in the Bible. Additionally, God was demonstrating them the same recurrent motif.

Your life must be ruled by Jesus. You are not the king or queen of your life; God is. You start living for Him. You become a follower of Jesus and not just a hearer among the masses when you follow him. A distinction exists. The author described every circumstance they encountered in great detail and worded everything with elegance. Since this book is so well-written, I was unable to locate any grammar errors. This book receives five out of five stars from me. Everyone should read this book at least once in their lifetime, in my opinion. This book is flawless already, so nothing needs to be changed.
