I definitely prefer first person over narration. It feels more natural and easy for me to read .

I actually enjoy books with multiple points of view. They offer a richer, more layered perspective on the story and allow readers to connect with different characters on a deeper level.

I personally don't have any preference towards 1st person or narrator. However, I have mostly seen terrible narrator books so I guess 1st pov is alright. But honestly I'd rather read the a book from a 2nd pov.

Personally I like 1st person rather than narrator because in narrator you already get some spoilers from the start of the story for example that the protagonist will be alive at the end of the story which can be a let down for some people especially in genres like fantasy.

I usually prefer first person because it’s cleared BUT when narrator is done well it is SO SO good!! Often though it makes some scenes more confusing than they need to be.

I'd really appreciate it if it was a narrator. Though weird, it gives me a sense of deja Vu that way
