I'm not so much a fan of science fiction and fantasy books. Maybe because they seem unrealistic to me, like the idea of an earth where everyone is left-handed or right-handed. I chuckled at that one.
However, reading through the review, I paid attention to the issues the plot underscores, such as unity of purpose as against self-interest. It's a given that selfish human interest can never foster unity of purpose. I'm glad that 'Sent to Watch' by David J. Lebenstein could hold its own for all it is a fantasy read, and I acknowledge its well-detailed arrangement.
