The concept of different 'Earths' and the agents navigating these worlds is fascinating. I love the unique twist of agents switching names and identities. This book seems well-detailed making it a must-read for sci-fi fans.

I appreciate how the book's author described selfishness, which is a fundamental aspect of human nature.
I enjoy reading books that enlighten the reader; the words conjure up images in your head, much as in a movie.
I'm sure the book would be exciting based on the review, so I'd definitely pick it up.

David J. Lebenstein's imaginative world-building in "Sent to Watch" is captivating, especially with the concept of multiple "Earths" and their unique traits. I’m particularly intrigued by Earth 48's right-handed natives and the interplanetary dynamics. Congrats on the botd.

“Sent to Watch” by David J. Lebenstein is a sci-fi book about an Interplanetary Intelligence Service that is watching the developments of 52 different Earths. Some of these Earths are part of the confederation, while others are under surveillance and the remainder are opposed to joining the confederation. Earth 48 is unique since the intelligent natives are all right-handed instead of the usual left-handed. Agents are sent throughout the major continents of Earth 48 in twos and threes. The story focuses on the agents that were sent to the British Empire. The agents lived by a code that they were sent to watch, not to affect. Therefore, they did not interfere with the development of the places they were sent. The sample illustrates that the people from other planets were watching Earth in the early 1800s. This is an interplanetary thriller that will widen horizons for readers since these Earths are different than the Earth we live on. The combination of fantasy and sci-fi made this book amazing and one that I plan to read from cover to cover. The story focused on issues that we are currently experiencing including the selfish human interests that are getting worse every day. I sure our country rights it’s direction from the me, me, me political interests to a world where people truly care about others especially the less fortunate.

This sounds so interesting. I absolutely love mysteries mixed with sci-fi genres. I like that your review mentions human selfishness, which I always believed would be our ultimate doom, leading us into a dystopian world, or probably other worlds, so to speak. I enjoyed your review. I can't wait to check this out.

An interspace novel about a world with multiple Earths, which sounds both intriguing and terrifying to be honest. The sample was a page-turner, I can’t wait to keep reading! I love that it also makes you think about the workings of our world, so thanks for sharing that in your review!

"Sent to Watch" sounds interesting, addressing human selfishness and skillfully wrapping historical fiction, science fiction, and romance into one. I would love to know if the interplanetary intelligence service will fall or rise. Congratulations on being BOTD!

The book appears to take a fresh approach to examining the complexities of politics, development, and humanity. The discoveries made by interplanetary spies who covertly immerse themselves in societies seem interesting. It seems ideal for readers who enjoy science fiction that explores political and societal concerns.

I like loosing myself in a sci-fi fantasy storyline. So seeing that this book is about a unique Earth 48, with intelligent natives who are right-handed instead of the usual left-handed, I am quite eager to know more about the book.

Thank you for such an insightful review of "Sent to Watch" by David J. Lebenstein. Your detailed summary and analysis truly piqued my interest in the book. I find the concept of multiple "Earths" and the dynamic of interplanetary surveillance fascinating. The distinction between right-handed and left-handed natives on different "Earths" adds an intriguing layer to the narrative.

The way you described the agents' dual identities, like Major Robert Weatherby being Agent Ori Svavapass, sounds compelling. It must add a unique twist to the storytelling. I also appreciate your reflection on the book's commentary on human selfishness and unity, making it not just an entertaining read but also a thought-provoking one. Your enthusiasm for the character development and plot progression is contagious.

I’m particularly interested in the character of Unni, posing as Jenny Carter. It sounds like her storyline adds depth to the narrative. Your mention of the book being professionally edited is a big plus for me as well. Based on your review, "Sent to Watch" seems like a must-read for any science fiction and fantasy enthusiast. I’m looking forward to experiencing the same thrill and intrigue you described.
