Are you a woman seeking to learn how to be better in relationships, not only for your own good but also that of your partner? Do you want to learn some of the secrets that drive Christian marriages and relationships to success? If yes, then the book Ruth Ready by Kitty Arceneaux is for you.
 
In this book, the author teaches women how to be Ruth-ready so that they can have a happy and enjoyable marriage. She even encourages women to get mentors who can mentor them to be good women and seek husbands they need and not the ones they prefer. She also shares her personal relationship stories and even highlights one of her past relationships with the father of her son. To find out more, please get yourself a copy of this book.
 
One of the things I liked is that the author pointed out the reality of what marriages are like nowadays. Most women marry men for what they can give and benefit from them, not to add value to their lives. This means that they want to marry rich men and live a comfortable life; they don't really care how these men treat them. This book can therefore act as an eye-opener for them so that they know the true value of marriage and learn how to be ready for it. 
 
Another thing I liked is that the author mentioned the qualities of a good man like Boaz and what a man like him in the present day would look like. Some of the qualities she mentioned are that he is compassionate, watchful, a provider, a protector, and worthy, among others. She also explained these qualities in detail and urged women to marry men with these qualities instead of being in abusive and controlling relationships. 
 
I also liked that the author mentioned working on one's self in a relationship and not relying on your partner to make you happy. Most people in relationships are often seen praying for their partners to change, and they even fast for days just to accomplish this. This isn't right because the best thing to do is to work on yourself, and the other person in the relationship will either learn to adjust or the relationship will fail completely. 
 
There is absolutely nothing I dislike about this book, and I recommend it to women who are married, single, or in relationships. Due to the reasons above, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
