I don't find memoirs all that interesting, even though the content of this one seems somewhat appealing, But I'll take a pass on this as it's not my thing. Nevertheless, congratulations to Ms. Finnerty on her achievement and BOTD.

This autobiography sounds heart-wrenching. However, in your review, you mention that the book teaches an important lesson to look for hope in all situations and to do your best. While reading about someone else's troubles and how they cope may not work for everyone, if it helps someone, it is worth reading to see if you are one who can be helped by it. I read the first chapter, and I felt like I was there in her bedroom watching the husband's betrayal unfold. I am grateful for your detailed review; it has encouraged me to keep reading the book.

Everyone makes mistake. I don't know why, but I think Kat was able to overcome all those disasters because she knew that she deserved it? Like she was finaly aknowledge all her mistake that she had done in the past. Also the reason why her husband did not happy with her anymore. She is a disaster herself. She could see that coming. instead of play victim 'what did I do wrong' she just moved forward with life. So that people will sided with her. And then makes money from it. Wow. Thank you for a nice review.

I'm not one to read biographies, but your review shows that this book is much more than a regular story. It shows the strength of a woman who chose to survive rather than remain a victim. I love your detailed review, and I hope to enjoy this book. This is a good recommendation.
