Review of Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book
Golf is a game that either ignites a passionate fire within you or leaves you cold. There's no middle ground. If you're striving to play like the pros, this book is your roadmap. Kalliope, a determined individual, embarked on a journey to become a pro-golfer. Her transformation from a novice to a pro in just two years is a testament to the power of dedication and hard work. Not content with her own success, she decided to share her knowledge and help others improve their game.
One of the first things is that your mind is the most essential piece of golf equipment you can own. Your mind can be your most helpful tool, and it can be the worst tool. If you concentrate and keep your eye on the target, you will probably make the shot. If you have already decided in your mind that you are not going to make the shot, then you probably won't. You have five senses: sight, feeling, hearing, smell, and taste. If you engage these five senses while playing golf, you will improve your game immensely.
It would help if you got connected with your golf course. Look it up on Google. Examine all of the eighteen holes. See where all of the traps are. Imagine yourself playing the game and making a hole-in-one. See the target, sense the target, keep your eyes on the target, and play through. You will likely come close to getting the ball into the hole on every shot.
The book contains much more to learn. The author discusses the sweet spot, the swish pattern, and the importance of marking your target. Diagrams show exactly what the author is trying to convey.
Play Golf Better Faster Handbook: The Little Golf Bag Book For Big Results Fast by Kalliope Barlis is an informative book that gives tips on improving your golf game. There was nothing about the book that I disliked. The author wrote the book in an accessible format that everyone could understand. She gave tips on everything from your stance to your focus on the ball. The book was well-written and well-edited, as I only found one error. The book is an excellent educational editorial on the golf game and how to play it. I recommend this book to anyone passionate about improving themselves and the game of golf. I gladly give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Pick up a copy, and you will play better in your next game.
