Your review beautifully captures the essence of ‘Choices’ by Gary Markman. The way you parallel the book’s themes with the Korean movie ‘Class of Lies’ adds a unique layer of depth to your analysis. I am particularly moved by your reflection on Harper’s mantra, ‘Difficulty and Impossible are Not Synonyms,’ which indeed resonates deeply. Your insights into the themes of racism, equality, friendships, love, family, and choice are profoundly enlightening. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and comprehensive review!

I love how you emphasize the impact of Harper’s teachings on his students and how their interactions shape their lives. Your perspective on leaving a lasting impact on the world is truly inspiring. The way you describe the friendship between Devi and Eddie, marked by unwavering solidarity and sacrifice, is incredibly touching. This review makes me eager to read ‘Choices’ and experience the emotional journey alongside the characters.

I completely agree that our role as adults is to guide children by helping them understand the reasons behind our advice, rather than imposing decisions. This approach fosters better decision-making and shapes their lives positively. "Choices" sounds insightful and impactful.

A proper adulthood requires a lot of wisdom. A whole lot! Because the future mostly depends on the decisions and choices in the present. Thanks for a nice review.

I have not read this book yet but it seems like Harper is dying and is going through these memories and moments he had with these 5 students. This is a plot I have never heard of before but it sounds incredible. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

I appreciate what" Choices" by Gary Markman explores regarding the impact of our decisions.
One powerful gift differentiating us from the rest of existence is our ability to choose.
I am keen to navigate the unfoldings of this book and the journey of Harper, Eddie, Arianna, Devi, Fazzi, and Robby as much as I am eager to discover the parallels detected from the Korean movie, " Class of Lies.".
Congratulations on BOTD!

The book helps us understand the choices we make impact our lives and we should not impose our decisions on others.

I wonder what happened to Harper; did he truly die? I'm not very intrigued by this book's plot, so I'll skip it. However, thanks for the review!

Harper meets his dead colleague, Mel, and it raises questions about whether he is dead too. “Choices” explores themes of friendship, love, and the power of choice. Harper imparts philosophy to his students that leaves a lasting impact on them. You have wonderfully put together the important aspects of the book in your review.

Choices choices!!! I like the concept of book, how one choice can change the whole scene. Also the rollar coaster pf emotion reviewer mentioned in the review is bonus. I liked the friendship part too, that makes it more likely for me to read it.
