I like reading books with the old English set up. I prefer action filled books but it seems I can still enjoy reading this. Thanks for the engaging review!

This review is so on point! I agree the characters are eclectic and so colourful. Vamelda is my favourite as well. The humour is a brilliant part which adds layers to the story. I agree with the reviewer on the full score as well!

Mystical story with paranormal activities sounds like a perfect intriguing tale. I was wondering if the book is from other language due to its title but after sampling realized it's the name of the main character in the story. Congrats for #BOTD!

I like how the reader learns more about Hattie and the different characters through her own search of who she is. I'm curious to find out what Hattie and Vamelda uncover about the past. It sounds like a captivating mystery.

I have always wondered what losing one's memory would feel like—the fear of not knowing anything and the thrill, too. I guess I'd have to follow Hattie Vavaseur’s journey to gain an experience in that. Congratulations on BOTD.
