The review praises the book's mystery and paranormal theme, highlighting Hattie's amnesia's connection to supernatural forces. The book starts slow but picks up speed quickly.

Yes, of course I'm curious about what becomes with Hattie's memory issues. The story has become more engaging because of the spectator. I would adore discovering the truth and experiencing thrilling, paranormal, and romantic activities. Even the character development appears deserving of praise.will attempt it.

Thank you for your great review. I don't usually care for stories with paranormal in them, but from sampling the book I did enjoy reading about Hattie. I do wonder who the master is and if this is where Hattie had lived or still lives. I have so many questions. I did like the author's style of writing. After reading your review, I decided to add it to my list of books to read.

Hattie Vavaseur, an elderly, wealthy woman with memory loss, arrives at a mysterious, dilapidated mansion, unsure of her destination or past. She pretends all is well and seeks answers with the help of quirky psychic Vamelda. "Hattie Vavaseur" by M. Rebecca Wildsmith, set in 1920s Cornwall, offers a rich blend of mystery, romance, and paranormal elements with well-developed characters and humor. Thank you for a great review.

Owwww, mystery with a hint of suspense, action and a bit of humour sounds interesting. Losing one's memory is quite scary. That blank hole with surrounding darkness is not a place many can handle. I can imagine Hatties frustration, uncertainty and fear facing that. And I'm sure glad that all of the pertinent questions were answered by the end of the novel.
"Hattie Vavaseur" by M. Rebecca Wildsmith is worth a read.

Just from reading the OBC official review of this mystery novel, I'm ready to crack it open and see what is going on with Hattie. Any story where the main character does not know what is going on allows readers to go on this journey of discovery. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.
