The story of Death's Companion seems both thrilling and complex, with Nick Parker's legendary skills and dark past adding depth to the narrative. James Meenagh has piqued my interest, and I can't wait to explore this book further. Congratulations on the Book of Today Award.

Thank you for the review of the second book in the Nick Parker series, "Death's Companion" by James Meenagh.
This book really kept the reviewer’s interest because it is so filled with action and the protagonist is even a bit over-the-top unbelievable, he is so good at his job. When Nick’s friend, Reggie, asks him for help as he is the only one Reggie can trust, Nick decided to help. The problem is the abduction of teen girls and its base has moved from Chicago to the Seattle area. There may be political figures involved. This book has some items and themes only recommended for those over 18 years of age.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

I love crime and investigation stories, and this is just a perfect one for me. You have done a good job summarizing this book, as themes such as crime, kidnapping, and mystery are very clear. I look forward to following Nick Parker's journey and unraveling the dilemma in the book. Good job

Who would be a better detective than an assassin himself? The book is well written and I am really enjoying the storyline.

**Death's Companion** by James Meenagh is a gripping exploration of mortality and human connection. The narrative weaves together the lives of diverse characters who find themselves entangled with Death, portrayed not as a grim reaper but as a poignant companion guiding souls through their final journey. Meenagh's prose is both haunting and beautiful, capturing the fragility of life and the strength found in acceptance. The story's depth is enhanced by its philosophical undertones, making it not just a tale of death but a celebration of the human spirit's resilience. This book is a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant read, offering a unique perspective on life's inevitable end.well written review .Great work .

I am fascinated by Nick's new life after he quit being an assassin for the United States government in order to live a more solitary life in a mountain.

There are many novels and movies based on the topic of human trafficking, so I don't think that Nick Parker's character brings anything new to the table. Moreover, the graphic violence depicted in the novels always puts me off. However, I may read it someday for the element of humor and suspense in it.

"Death's Companion" is a chilling book title that matches the intense, suspenseful, and utterly captivating story within its covers. I couldn't get enough of the action bits of the book. The characters were well written, and I developed a special liking for Coop, the silent but deadly German shepherd. I also loved how you depicted Nick in your review, I couldn't have said it better!

I was having an overwhelming feeling of Deja Vu, primarily due to the fact that the first book series as an adult that I became addicted to was after I read the 2nd book in the series too. As a teenager, I loved all of the Sweet Valley books, never one for Babysitter's Club though. So when I borrowed a friend's book at work one day and read it (the In Death series by JD Robb), I was very surprised at how it kept me on the edge of my seat. Thanks for the very honest review and this sounds like another series that belongs in my collection.
