When Susan realizes that there is more to the news than meets the eye, she starts journaling the daily news and writes down everything that holds value to her. By the time she has enough information, she thinks to herself, Why not make this into a book? This is why this book exists. In Plain Sight: 2022 by Susan Mallett details the events of 2022. The year is quite nostalgic and gives us enough to think about. This book can remind you of most of the events that occurred that year.

I like how the book offers a detailed look at the year, and I am glad Susan tasted writing just when the year had started to gain any relevance. With the COVID pandemic gradually going past us, new threats emerge at the Ukrainian borders, and we subsequently see the invasion of the nation by Russia. Such details and opinions on matters like these make me like the book even more. I enjoyed the way Susan could pick out every major event or new thing from each day and journal it. My favorite thing that Susan wrote about was the Queen's death and funeral. I liked Queen Elizabeth a lot, and I remember watching the funeral live all day long. Reading through September and October gave me nostalgic moments because, at that moment in my life, I followed the news, and most of Susan's content aligned with the things that I saw.

Upon evaluation, I have realized that this book contains no grammatical errors. It was brilliantly edited, and I commend the author for her editorial efforts. As for the negative aspects, there is no negative side to this book. The entire execution is commendable. I will do some research to see if Susan wrote in 2023 because, I must confess, the idea behind this book was genius.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its exceptional coverage of the year 2022. There is nothing one could hate about the book, and I recommend it to anyone who needs a summary of the year 2022.
