This book presents a different light on the type of person Columbus was. Many think of him as an explorer, not a slave trader. Thank you for your informative review.

From the review, it looks like readers interested in historical fiction that happened in the 15th century will be very interested in this book. I have never explored that particular era before, so this would be a new experience for me. Can't wait to give this book a read. Congratulations on winning Book of the Day!

"Columbus, Slave Trader" looks like exciting historical fiction. I have known Columbus as an explorer, and I didn't know the other aspect of him being a slave trader. It's good this book is here to enlighten me on that. Congratulations BOTD!

It sounds like a fascinating book. Although history is not my thing, there is so much to learn from this book. Sadly, the effects of slaving trading might take a lot to eradicate. I appreciate how detailed the history is throughout this book. This is an excellent recommendation.

Navigator and colonist Christopher Columbus is well-known for his expeditions across the Atlantic. This literary masterpiece has numerous fantastic and unknown facts in it. When I came upon Columbus, who was searching for gold, I became enthusiastic. When the quest doesn't go as planned, he chooses to exchange slaves as a substitute for the gold, which he can't locate in significant quantities. He even puts his own life in danger to keep others safe. I don't usually read historical novels, but the review inspired me to read his voyage of discovery.

Thanks for this insightful review of 'Columbus, Slave Trader' by Marcus Wilson. The portrayal of Columbus in a new light, as a slave trader, and the use of a native narrator like Guarocuya, seems to offer a powerful and unique perspective on historical events. It’s impressive how the book balances historical accuracy with compelling storytelling.

The author has rightly used the Africa proverb to change the impression Columbus has made to the world until now. Of course there is always two sides to a coin, so we will have to read this book completely to know more about what happened actually during that period.

Colombus slave trade it is a historical fiction book in which the author describes historical events that transpired in Hispaniola between 1493 and 1495 using a guarocuya ,a native of Hispaniola as the narrator of the book.
The author also shows the reader a different perspective on Admiral Columbus.
