Review of Living Through the Mist of The Soulslonging
This gap between past and present achievements has led some people to speculate about lost knowledge or abilities our ancestors may have possessed. Could there have been a time when humans wielded powers that we, in our age, could not understand? Some theorists propose that those who have come before us could do extraordinary things, possibly spiritual in nature, that allowed them to accomplish things that still baffle us today. The idea follows that regaining these abilities isn't just about technological advancement but about rediscovering a deeper connection to our spiritual selves. This book, Living Through The Mist of The Soulslonging by Brad Leslie, looked into the author's search for knowledge. The search for the truth of this knowledge took him to different places: Greece, Israel, Egypt, Iceland, Italy, etc. While in Florence, Italy, Santa Maria came to Brad. She told him about her past lives and when they had known each other in those past lives. From there on, she guided him in his search for knowledge.
I loved reading every part of the author's life. He was born with a learning disability and could barely read or write until he was 13. He was born with an XXY chromosome, which is a rare occurrence. Because he was different, he didn't blend well, but he was a good observer. He met Linda and Eddie, and they both were into spiritual things. He and Eddie fell in love, and they were both experiencing spiritual awakenings.
This book will help you come to a level of awakening. I learned that there is a relationship between Isis, the Egyptian goddess and princess, the Black Madonna Mary, Mary Magdalene, Jesus, the Knights Templar, and the Star of David, and that they all relate to six places on the body, six places on the earth, and six places in our solar system. When you read this book, you will learn about Saint Nicholas, Jacob in the Bible, the 12 chakras, the Tree of Life, etc. I love that the author shared images of different things and places he talked about. It made me understand the book more. It hit me differently when I got to the part that said, "If you are not asking questions about who you are, you are only experiencing a small fraction of the life you could be living." I also loved reading about Josiah's analysis of religion in this book.
This book united history, religion, archeology, spirituality, and science and showed how different things exist that point to the same thing. If you like reading about these things, then I recommend this book to you. There was nothing about the book that I disliked. It was exceptionally well edited, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
