A great thumbs up to Mark Unger for this inspiring and emotional story. I was deeply in my emotions as I read this book. Cancer is a disease that scares me the most. I always imagine how painful and sad victims of cancer really feel. They really need all the love and support they can get. One thing I've realized is that the love of parents for their child is so deep and real. This love is like a strong force that drives them to go to any lengths to ensure their child's well-being and happiness.

First Survivor by Mark Unger is a book about a boy who got a rare cancer called neuroblastoma. The book tells the story of how the boy's family coped with the diagnosis and treatment. Mark Unger and his wife did everything they could to find a cure for their son. They never lost hope and worked tirelessly to get him the best care possible. I'm motivated by how they remained hopeful throughout this painful journey. Mark Unger and the wife, Mary Ellen, are really strong because seeing your 3-year-old child pass through a deadly disease like that and experiencing all those pains that's associated with it can break one down mentally, emotionally, and physically. It takes so much determination and hope to be able to handle that.

They fought like lions just to save their child. They made some personal and financial sacrifices to ensure their child was treated. They didn't really care about anything else than their child's total healing. One thing that I significantly learned from this story is that emotional support can go a long way towards helping people in need. Sometimes all people need is someone to be there for them, comforting them and showing them love and care.

I give First Survivor a wonderful five out of five star rating because I was truly inspired. This book is exceptionally edited. To be honest, there was nothing I found unappealing about this book. It's a big thumbs up from me to the author for a work well done.

If any of your loved ones are battling cancer, find motivation and hope in First Survivor. This book will fuel their spirit to keep fighting and never relent or give up. I would also recommend it to those who enjoy books with themes of resilience and determination.
