Gerry Steen wrote: 26 Jul 2024, 08:29 This children's storybook addresses bullying, and self-love among other things. The message it gives is strong and clear. We must love ourselves. When people see that we love ourselves, they see our inner beauty and are inspired by us. Probably, they wish to be like us and to love themselves. I like that this book is written in rhyme and that older children can learn to read this book. I appreciate that you mentioned parents can benefit from the lessons in the book, while they read to their children, as they may have scarring from when they were bullied at a younger age. Great review!
Thanks a lot, Gerry!

It looks like a wonderful children's book with themes of loving yourself, even if others bully you because of your looks and imperfections. Being bullied can greatly lower your self esteem and confidence. I hope the book can help children learn that they are wonderful as they are. Thank you for your detailed review!

It's all 'bout teachin' kids to love themselves, stand up to bullies, and embrace their flaws. The rhyming words and beautiful illustrations make it even more appealin' to young readers. Plus, it's great 'cause it can spark important discussions 'tween parents and kids 'bout self-esteem and acceptance. This book definitely sounds like a solid 5 outta 5 read! Unforgettable climax, left me breathless with anticipation.

What a great way to open a review: 'Do you want your children to embrace their flaws, love themselves, know how to tackle bullying, and overcome low self-esteem?' As a parent, my answer is a resounding yes. This opening definitely caught my eye. Great job showcasing your writing skills!
