Review of The Solution is Political Revolution
The Solution is Political Revolution by Jillion R. Rising is a book that connects the past with the present by going back in time when America got independence from their mother country, Britain, and all that happened after their freedom, most of which were tragic, such as the assassination of some presidents, the industrial revolution, the fight for women's suffrage, the great depression, the labor movement, the civil rights movements, to mention but a few, and relates the present occurrences such as the mortgage crisis and all other forms of insurmountable debt, unemployment, social insecurity, and lots more, and relates all these to what the future holds for the American citizens.
What are the solutions to all these problems? Who would save the nation from them? What does the future look like? Will it keep getting better?
You'd get to find out in the highly educative, informative, and eye-opening book.
The author emphasized the major factors responsible for poor governance; they are deception, corruption, and greed.
Further, it was revealed in the book that real democratic government should be people-centered by working and walking with what the people want and need to make life easier for them at the present and create a sustainable system to secure the possibility of a better and brighter future for generations to come. Having the people's interest at heart should be the objective.
But what if this is not the case? What if the government is after self-gain? What can the people do? What if the government meant to protect its people by representing them is now a slave to Wall Street, commercial banking, private equity, and the monetary system that must have perpetual debt? Who would save the government meant to serve its people?
This book is not conspiratorial at all, but logical, which is justified because not all politicians are evil, but reality changes once they see what's behind the curtain in Washington, DC, so it's more of the system, not the people elected.
In addition, it was indicated that some main agencies are the heartbeat that drives the action/reaction process of the flow of currency and are the main contributors to what is now referred to as the mortgage crisis and great recession.
They are: central banking, commercial banking, Wall Street, and lobbyists.
If these systems can navigate towards meeting people's needs, it would be of great importance.
The emphasis was laid on the need for the people to use the powerful tool in their hands to fight and stand their ground. The tool here is Unity. It talks about waking up to reality and facing it head-on.
The goal of the author is to wake American people up to the fact that their opinions matter. In fact, to make them see, know, and believe the truth that the true power that makes America great is not Wall Street or imperial government; it is and always has been the American people.
It is the people who support the entire foundation of the nation; the corrupt politicians in Washington, DC, understand the power of a united citizenry, which is another reason why they work so hard at dividing us. If we as a people can arise and speak in one voice, then the system will swerve toes to the echo of these voices, and then the change has begun already, but not using the tools and power we have will make things worse in a very slow at the beginning but rapid in the end in a progressive manner, which might not be reversible by then.
A closed mouth is a closed destiny, they say. If we do nothing now, then what legacy are we going to leave for the generation to come? We need to be proactive; we need to protect the interests of the nation; we are the nation; we need to speak up with one voice. If we start and continue, it'll definitely yield positive outcomes; then the real democracy will come to full realization; it will be the beginning of our real freedom.
The root of the problem began when Washington, DC, became corrupt; this said corruption was accomplished because certain tools were used. They are: Wall Street greed, the Fiat monetary system, the Federal Reserve, monopolization of industry, and many more.
This means if all these tools, as stated above, are channeled towards the real democracy, then the revolution has already begun.
This book is for everyone who is interested in politics and would love to advance their knowledge. This book is like a manual that has a lot of outlines on having the best system of governance and what to do to reinstate a corrupt nation, so this book is for every politician; it's worth grabbing a copy to effect good leadership.
Not only that, for those who would love to see American politics revolve, the people start with an individual; a group of informed individuals make up a people of knowledge. Knowledge, they say, is power.
Always remember, united we stand, divided we perish.
The author did a very great job; no typographical error was detected while reviewing the book, and the pages were well numbered as well. It's really an eye-opener. And for these reasons, I'm rating this book 5 out of 5. Absolutely, I found nothing to dislike in this book.
