Insightful review. "I Have Calluses on My Hands" It sounds like an interesting book to read given the lengths Harold Henry and his son went to recollect their old memories and their family history as well. Sincerity or opening up about certain family issues or memories is quite hard. I'm glad that Harold Henry and his son shared theirs. I would love to read this book. Congratulations on being BOTD!

I find this book quite interesting. This book will be helpful to Harold as a family history. I wish I would someday have the courage to pen down my family history.

Good review! The book seems interesting, although the cover does not have any appeal. I'll keep it in mind if I ever have time to read it.

"I Have Calluses on My Hands" by Neil Henry is a book that is written in the first person perspective of the author's father Harold. Neil Harold has edited and augmented the book for ease of understanding. In the book, the author also studies his genealogy, so readers will have the opportunity to find out that he originates from Germany and Russia.

Many stories get lost because nobody was there to hear them. However, the author did not want that to happen to his story. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

The way Harold Henry openly shares both the successes and the struggles of his life creates an authentic and relatable narrative. The inclusion of family history, tracing back to Neil's great-grandparents and their journey from Russia, Germany, and England, adds a rich historical layer to the memoir.
