Hi @Reva Parker, I just read your comments on the official review of "I Have Calluses on My Hands" and I liked your summary of this amazing story. Neil envisioned that one day when he was old, he would need a record of his life including his family ancestors. Neil’s father Harold wrote the story and Neil then edited and augmented it for today’s readers. Harold was born in 1911; Neil was born in 1945 and his great-grandparents were born in the mid-1800s. Neil wanted this book so that when he was old, he would always be able to refresh his memory of his family history for the 100+ years before he was born. His great-grandparents came to New York from Russia, Germany and England. Harold described his life in great detail and adds credibility to the entire project that will also be shared with other descendants. I wish I had kept a written record of my family’s genealogy from the late 1800s since I spent a great amount of time with my grandparents, and they shared many family stories with me. @Mrlefty0706
