Filled with well-developed characters and vivid, descriptive scenes, today's BOTD is one that will appeal to a wide audience of various ages. Readers will not only appreciate the engaging storyline, but also that it will keep you guessing. I plan to add this to our class book recommendations board. Thank you for your review! :-)

I liked your review, Stephanie! I sampled a few opening pages, and I enjoyed the awesome pictures and the opening poem. I have yet to get the feel for the character development you mention in the review, but my initial impression of this book is that it is a remarkable magical story, and I too would give it a perfect rating.

Thank you for your great review on "The Hermit Gryphon" by Paula Grover. I am not into the fantasy genre but this book looks like an interesting read. It's got a thrilling plot with great character development and themes of acceptance, trust, and forgiveness. The illustrations are breathtaking and it can be enjoyed by both young and adult fantasy readers. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Despite the fact that this book is labeled as Sci-Fi/Fantasy, in my opinion, it is more mythology than anything else and my, what a story it presents! It sounds like an epic tale of redemption and becoming a real person worth being respected. Congratulations on BOTD!

The way she captures the complexities of love through her poetry, combined with the simplicity of her language, makes it so accessible and relatable. I’m particularly drawn to how her poems provide comfort and guidance during tough times.

"The Hermit Gryphon follows Tal’s journey to redeem herself by oppressing the other gryphons." I like stories where characters try to redeem themselves. However, I don't think I like how Tal intends to go about it. Well, I'd love to see how it unfolds.

This sounds like an amazing and original fantasy. Even if it can be read as a standalone I would prefer to check out the prequel first.

It sad that Tal trusting the Gargoyles was a mistake and this plot of this book seems complex and I would surely relax to read this book and comprehend better.

"The Hermit Gryphon" by Paula Grover. An interesting fictional fantasy story, talks about Sunsky who is the oracle queen. Tal in this story was hated by her people. This book is full of mysteries, action and eventful. Congrats on your #BOTD.

It sounds like *The Hermit Gryphon* has a compelling narrative centered around redemption and personal growth, which is emphasized through the character of Tal. From what you've shared, it seems that the review highlighted the depth of Tal's character development and the vivid imagery of the book. The idea of Tal starting as a figure of hatred and moving towards healing, with the help of a friendship with Griper, adds a meaningful layer to the story. It's also great to hear that the book can stand alone, even as a sequel, and that it's appropriate for a wide audience. I’m curious about how the themes of acceptance and forgiveness play out in Tal’s journey. How does her relationship with Griper influence her transformation? The unpredictable plot and detailed illustrations also sound like they enhance the overall reading experience. Your review makes me want to explore the world of *The Hermit Gryphon* and see how Tal’s journey unfolds.
