Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
“Snatched Up to Heaven” by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul starts with the kids describing their first trip to heaven, where angels carried them above the earth, passing other planets until they reached the supernatural realm. Jesus meets them in this place in particular, taking them to his home, where they spend two days. The children describe every detail of heaven, including its beauty and comfort as well as various plants, animals, and rainbows surrounding it. Also included are their interactions with Jesus, who showed them his scars before seating them on his throne.
Jemima, the mother of these kids, also adds her understanding of what the children saw, relating it to biblical verses while providing an adult perspective about what happened. Such narrations include playing with heavenly creatures or animals or seeing Noah and Queen Esther from the Bible, as well as feeling healed and beautiful. They also show us how heaven is rewarded through golden crowns and multicolored garments highlighting perfect happiness.
The book also revealed what the children saw about hell, which was described as a dark, hot place filled with flames and worms big enough to swallow up alive or dead souls suffering inside it. In comparison to everything good that happens in heaven, hell is full of sadness, and then there is nothing for one to be happy about on earth; this contrast between agony on earth is best illustrated by the vivid description of torment available in both places: “When I looked down at my feet, I realized that I did not have legs, but instead I had become a paraplegic." The narrator shows how Jesus cries upon seeing those condemned souls, thus emphasizing again how trying hard for God’s love pays off sometime later.
The aspect of Snatched Up to Heaven that stands out for me is the fact that despite their limited vocabulary, Priyanka and Deepika vividly narrate their experiences of heaven and hell. The book combines detailed descriptions of heavenly beauty and joy with harrowing tales of what hell is like. I can’t find any faults since the story was perfectly edited.
I rate this book five out of five stars due to its exceptional storytelling that blends innocent yet vivid voices from Priyanka and Deepika about heaven and hell together with her mother Jemima’s insightful scriptural explanations.
This is highly recommendable for Christians since it contains valuable teachings that can go hand in hand with scriptural backings, as proved by the children’s revelations.

I loved the fact that the kid's dreams were backed up with biblical verses.
I appreciated the kids' drawing, and the YouTube links added to the book, the smile on Priyanka's face when she narrated about Heaven was heartwarming.
It's a good book for Christian homes.
