This quote is from the first novel by PM George. a Melbourne psychologist, educationalist and coach. It sets the tone of thoughtfulness and analysis that is throughout the novel but doesn't give any clues to the eroticism and passion that are there as well! This is a novel about love, desire, sex and obsession. Two strangers Mike and Sue are looking for late-life love. They meet accidently and life becomes lustier and more satisfying than they could have imagined. The sex is intense and unfettered but their conflicting views about love, sex age and relationships cause complications.

The characters are well drawn, the novel a page turner, and the book satisfying in its ending. A book for men who are keen to understand how women think and a book for women who want to do the same. I gave the book 5 stars for its readability, and its advice. I enjoyed it immensely and I learned things that will be useful in my own life. You can't ask for more than that in a novel, can you?
