Beauty in the Branches by TJ Tomberlin is a collection of 33 poems covering a variety of themes, such as human feelings, nature, wildlife, European culture, and so forth. The book is divided into four parts, and the themes are more or less linked. Before almost every poem, there is a high-quality figure that graphically highlights what the author will say. The subjects are approached in a sensitive and accessible way, as most poetry lovers can understand what the author says and make a correlation with some experience.

What stands out most is the quality of the poems and how the author manages to express her feelings on various subjects. At the beginning of the book, the reader can feel what the author felt in her intimate contact with nature. In the middle, there is a brilliant description of animals, and it is as if, to give an example, you could put yourself in the shoes of the golden eagle as it flies through the sky and imposingly searches for prey. The writer's talent is undeniable. I have my favorite poems, but the quality of one poem compared to another is the same. In other words, you can see that the author felt what she was writing, and it was not a poem to fill a book in a purely commercial way.

There is nothing negative about the book. The material is of such high quality that it is one of the best poetry collections I have read in the last five years. It will undoubtedly become a book of the month. The book's editing is also commendable, with only two minor grammatical errors found (related to spacing and lack of capitalization), instilling confidence in the book's overall quality.

Overall, Beauty in the Branches is an artistic gem of excellent quality. Even though I didn't need to, I read the book three times, and there is nothing I can suggest to the author to improve the quality of this work. Therefore, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

As generic as it may sound, poetry lovers have everything to like about this book. The book is not so concerned with form, rhymes, and structure, so this is the only caveat I can make for poetry lovers who value form more than content. However, the book's lack of profane words or sexual content makes it suitable for readers of all ages, making it a comfortable and reassuring choice for a broad audience.
