Odyssey of High Hopes by Cyrus A. Ansary sounds like an inspiring journey of resilience and determination. I'm curious to see how his pursuit of the American dream unfolds while balancing love for his homeland.

Seems A. Ansary was so determined to become a United States of America citizen .lts good to note his brother was a role model to him. This book gives me curiosity to know if A. Ansary fulfilled his dream and how.

Congratulations on Book of the Month! This memoir is more than just a tale of pursuing the American Dream, but also one of working to improve one’s native country after immigrating abroad.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

It's great that the author, Cyrus A. Ansary, didn't give up on his dream of becoming a citizen or forget his native country as many are wont to do. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll pass on this book.

Odyssey of high hopes, "The value of hard work and perseverance is skillfully promoted throughout the book" as a young adult what other lines do you need to be inspired about a book other than this? This book is a must read as it resonate with my aspirations.

“Odyssey of High Hopes: An Immigrant’s Tale Of Sacrifice, Courage, and Love” by Cyrus A. Ansary is a story that details the difficulties Ansary, an immigrant, experiences while trying to achieve his goals and dreams. He grew up in Iran and he learned to excel in school. His most important goal was to be as successful as his brother Hassan, a very gifted older brother that was his mom’s favorite and Cyrus being the youngest had amazing goals. When mom became sick Cyrus had to fend for himself. One needs to read the book to learn if Cyrus was as successful as Hassan, what happened to his father and his other siblings. This is a wonderful book that focuses on the values of hard work, perseverance and achievement. I enjoyed the sample that focused on Cyrus’ early years.
