“Zen and the Art of Writing” by Ray Hodgson is a guide for writing a book from choosing the topic to getting it published and on the market. Hodgson suggests meditation as a source for inspiration and if one selects a hero has strong motivations and make sure he has flaws. It is also important to find a good editor and a cover designer and join a support group. I have never attempted to write a book but I know it is not easy and it takes inspiration, perspiration and persistency. I would think knowing someone in the business would also be a big help. A short but exceptional guide to follow.
