Personal growth is one thing we cannot deny. However, I do not know how aspects such as war aging and fear could be good. This is the aspect that makes me want to explore this book. I want to know how the author argues this point. Congratulations.

The author's thoughts on viewing stressors as challenges that can prevent anxiety associated with them as the biochemical concoction would be different are something to think about. Viewing war, failure, and laziness as good things draws my attention to this book.

The book presents a provocative idea that disasters, war, and other typically negative experiences might have positive aspects. This contrarian perspective invites readers to reconsider their views on stress and adversity, potentially leading to personal growth and a better understanding of how mindset influences health and performance.

"Four Keys to the Natural Anabolic State" is a very intriguing guidebook on how we approach success, stress, and mindset. The negative events such as disasters, war, failure, ageing, fear, laziness, diseases, and lying being good and positive things such as peace, abundance, health, success, etc. Being bad makes it thought-provoking. Nice review.

Thumbs up to you Cara your review is amazing .When I first saw the book I was not interested in reading it. The way you described the book and great detail by using the matrix as a metaphor made it even more compelling to read. Thank you again for your very interesting view I can't wait to read this book.

"Four Keys to the Natural Anabolic State" by William G. Alston challenges conventional views on stress, success, and health, proposing that negative experiences like failure or fear can actually be beneficial. Alston explores how our mindset affects stress responses, suggesting that viewing stressors as challenges can lead to positive biochemical reactions. Adding it to my reading list.

Although I haven't read the book, I would still agree that the bad things stoat happen are actually good because they help make humans better or understand more about life. Congratulations on making a book of the day.

This book will make one carefully examine their own mindset about stress, people, one's job, relationships, nutrition, exercise, life, and oneself. The author stresses the need to find the mindset that is useful, adaptive, or helpful. Congrats on BOTD!

Hi @Anu Anand, I just read your comments on the official review of “Four Keys to the Natural Anabolic State” and I found this book one that needs to be read with a very open mind. The first sentence in the official review was thought provoking but my first thought was this mindset is not humane. To feel pain and suffering caused by disasters could be good and peace, health and abundance could be bad is very difficult to understand. I did read the review with an open mind. I agree that worry causes stress and anxiety, but I do not understand how this could be good for one’s body or mindset @Mrlefty0706
