Jemima Paul, Ph.D., and her husband, Arvind Paul, share with us in this book, Snatched Up to Heaven!: Astounding Testimonies of Heaven and Hell From the Mouth of Babes, real-life stories of visions of heaven and hell from their daughters, Priyanka and Deepika. Jemima Paul and her husband are originally from South India but now live in the United States. They have three daughters, Priyanka, Deepika, and Keerthana.

Jemima has a doctorate in Christian education and loves God and the things of God so much. These parents have also taught their children to love God and the things of God. Unsurprisingly, these children would have such incredible encounters as they did. The children talked about God and the angels carrying them up to heaven in the visions, showing them what heaven is like, the beautiful plants and animals and different people of color, how God cares for them in heaven, and how the pains they felt on earth weren’t present in heaven anymore and giving them beautiful things.

They also spoke of their visit to hell in the vision; Priyanka would always feel terrible stomach aches whenever she talked of their encounter in hell. They saw nasty things like ghosts, ants, wild animals, and witches. People in hell were constantly in pain and were being pushed into boiling water.

This book is so easy to read and understand, which made me like so many things about it. I like the author's interpretations of the children’s visions; instead of trying to dilute them, she wrote them as they told them, offered her interpretation, and even backed them up with bible verses. I liked that the parents listened to their children and didn’t just shove the children aside and ignore their claims of having a vision because the authors confirmed that from their visions, a lot seemed to tally with what’s written in the scripture and was evident in their interpretations.

I recommend this book to every Christian home, both children and adults. It is suitable for everyone, and every member of a Christian family would relate to one or two things from the book. I’m rating this book 5 out of 5 stars because I dislike nothing about it, and it was well-written and professionally edited.

The vivid descriptions of heaven in *Snatched Up to Heaven!* are truly fascinating. The children’s accounts of the beautiful plants, animals, and the sense of peace in heaven provide a comforting view of the afterlife. I find the portrayal of heaven as a place without pain particularly moving. It brings a lot of hope and joy to think of a place where suffering doesn't exist, and the imagery of God taking care of everyone is heartwarming.

The testimonies of hell in this book are quite chilling. Priyanka’s description of the pain and torment she witnessed really stood out to me, especially the stomach aches she felt when recalling her vision. It's a sobering reminder of the concept of eternal suffering in religious teachings. The imagery of people being pushed into boiling water and the presence of witches and wild animals is terrifying, but it certainly adds weight to the spiritual message of the book.

The descriptions of Priyanka and Deepika’s heavenly visions are filled with hope and beauty. It’s fascinating to read about the diverse people of color in heaven, as this reflects the inclusive nature of the afterlife in the book. The idea that heaven is a place for everyone, regardless of earthly differences, is very uplifting. It paints a picture of harmony and unity in the afterlife, which is a comforting thought for many readers.

I appreciate the way Jemima and Arvind Paul treated their children's visions with respect and openness. Instead of dismissing their stories, they listened attentively and sought to understand them. This shows a deep trust in the spiritual experiences of their children, and it’s refreshing to see parents validate such experiences instead of brushing them off. Their willingness to connect these visions to biblical references adds a thoughtful layer to the narrative.
