Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
"Snatched Up to Heaven" by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is a book that talks about children’s experiences of heaven. It mainly focuses on those extraordinary occurrences in which Priyanka and Deepika were transported into heaven through dreams and visions. Their descriptions paint a vivid image of seeing heaven’s marvels or witnessing the torments of hell through innocent eyes. In this respect, she wisely reinterprets her children’s accounts based on biblical texts to make their spiritual revelations much clearer.
The most astonishing part of all these is how Priyanka and Deepika were able to recall every single detail of their experiences despite being toddlers. These beautiful images describe golden structures with abundant floral life and the presence of Jesus Christ within them, evoking hope and awe. On the other hand, they will emotionally terrify us with their explanations concerning what it means to be in hell. The combination of both places reminds everyone about the long-term consequences of deeds done during our lifetime.
However, this book also serves as an exceptional guide for people interested in spirituality rather than just providing a collection of visions that are out of the ordinary. By inserting scriptural references, Jemima Paul has further deepened her kids’ stories.
My favorite character from this book is Priyanka because, even though she was young when all these happened, she provides detailed pictures about what happened there in the two worlds (heaven and hell). Her honesty comes from narrating incidents such as her interaction with Jesus whom she met for the first time in her life; her eyes caught up with heaven since it was more beautiful than everything else around him; watching people suffer while he had been saved by grace only made him compassionate towards others who had missed that chance too (could well be priests, etc.). How can a little girl, as she portrays such sophisticated visions, and at the same time be so innocent? I will be interested to know more about her because Priyanka seems to have a unique combination of spiritual awareness, intellectual curiosity, and genuine love for others. There is nothing to dislike in the book.
I rate this book five out of five stars. This book is an interesting read for Christians on life after death that prompts them into self-reflection upon their faith. This book stands out as a must-read if you are looking for one, with a well-developed storyline that has deep theological insights into things like heaven or hell. It is error-free in editing terms, making it perfect.
