"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz seems so mystic with its diverse plots and characters. Although the story revolves around Galen Bray, the young escapee who was to inherit his late uncle's forge, the book also highlights the political and magical intrigues involving other significant characters. Sadly, I'm not a fan of fantasy or magical realism, so I'll pass. Thank you.

Thank you for the review. I am not familiar with the fantasy world books. The sample gave an interesting insight. All the characters are well described and reading the action was amazing. Congratulations on #BOTD.

I've read this book, and it will be great for fans of the fantasy genre who love to see whole new worlds created. I loved Galen’s naiveté and wide-eyed innocence. I could also feel the palpable fear when some Voulhirians spoke about Meldorath in hushed tones.

I have read this first installment and hope to journey with Galen through the next episodes. How will he impact Voulhire?

I see Meldorath as a modern Voldemort and won't be surprised if this series makes it to the big screen.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and insightful review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz. Galen’s journey, Rowan’s humor, and the political complexities certainly seem to make for a compelling story, and I’m particularly intrigued by Meldorath's mysterious subplot. I appreciate your recommendation, and based on your review, this sounds like a must-read for fantasy fans who enjoy well-developed characters and complex worlds.

This book seems interesting as it relates to historical characters and the war of ruler and ruled.
The review has given detailed idea of it and in a disciplined manner.

Thank you for the revealing review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.
This seems like a very enjoyable series with shaken taking over the forge his dad left him. Rowan, his dad’s executor, seems like a sage good friend that Galen will need. The political interplay and the adventure add to the interesting story of the well-written characters.
