Great review! The title itself tells you that this will have good insight. You’d never guess that the book was about dealing with cancer based on it alone, but you learn really quickly that it’s just the initial draw of the book. Once you see how things are actually laid out, it all comes together and makes sense.
I liked his attitude because he never let bad news control his life. This positive attitude, combined with his sense of humor, made the book uplifting rather than depressing, as I had expected from a cancer book. It allowed him to tell the story from his own point of view, and he even simplified the medical terminology to make it easier to understand.
I have to give the author their props. I would assume that being able to approach subject matter that can get so serious/dark with any sense of humor or levity is key to creating a memoir like this.

This review opens us to how the story is being told, interesting rather than depressing as the book depicts. The book is relatable for others in the same situation and provides some kind of learning for those have never encountered this problem. It also depicts hope and the need for companionship and a positive mindset to get through situations like these. The review also adds that it is a sad but an enjoyable journey.

This autobiography seems appropriate for those who suffer from cancer or have a family member or acquaintance with this disease. I think that one should always pay attention to the advice of someone who survived cancer. In this case, the author shares his healing process in 15 rules to deal with this disease.

I love the positive spin you put on the story. And you are right, one shouldn't wait to have a terminal illness to get one's affairs in order or to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
Thank you for your fantastic review!

The name of the book made me think that the book is about developing confidence in oneself for stage performances. However, the book is about surviving cancer. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

The subtitle of this book caught my attention, 15 Ways to Deal with Cancer. I believe the personal story of a survivor will inspire many people dealing with cancer. Well done to the author.

Having lost two of my dear people to Cancer, I could resonate with the emotions and journey of the author as a survivor. It's encouraging for everyone to live life to fullest potential, no matter what is thrown our way rather than succumbing to the disease. Hearty wishes to the author for good health and thank you for the memoir.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. My uncle was a cancer survivor, and I was with him throughout his journey, so I understand how painful it can be. This book seems like it could help uplift the spirits of many cancer survivors, which is really commendable. More strength to those who are going through this pain right now.

I approached this book cautiously since the topic was sensitive to me. However, I found a humorous attitude towards cancer that I had no idea could exist. I do intend to read it all. Interesting and comprehensive review!
