The cover has a warm feel. Not too shiny but appealing. It has the aesthetic of a classic and is a classic.

At first glance, the images of the bridge and building profiles give an impression of visiting a historical site. The faded colors create a nostalgic feeling. A closer look reveals that the piece of paper is a birth certificate. The red color of the bridge stands out against the gray background. Mirroring the bridge creates the appearance of an arrowhead pointing at the birth certificate. This composition adds a layer of mystery. However, this may not be apparent at first glance. Only after reading the blurb does the hint of mystery become evident.

A lot of vehicles go through a bridge. The bridge lifts a lot of weight. Despite this, the bridge is sturdy, stable and carries people along. The cover of this book reminded me of this and I feel like we all are deceptively calm from the outside but are trembling from the insides. Overall, I think the cover of the book captures this essence.
There are few things in life that can make me as happy as oily foods.

The minimalist design and muted colors add a layer of intrigue, perfectly setting the tone for the novel's exploration of complex personal secrets.

This minimalistic cover piqued my interest. The bridge with the documents definitely have hidden layers of identity, and along with the title, I am sure there is more than what meets the eye. This is making me want to explore the book even more!

I love the cover. As a freelance artist I found it pleasing to the eye and felt the need to study it closely so I could take in all of the elements.

The cover of this book initially went unnoticed, but as I read, its peaceful presence and unique design drew me in. The simplicity and well-chosen colors complement the title, enhancing its overall charm. While the cover does point to some key elements of the story, I didn't find it intriguing enough on its own to influence my decision to read it. However, after reading the story's description along with seeing the cover, I was convinced to give it a try—and I ended up really enjoying the book.

The Golden Gate bridge is, without doubt, one of the marvellous piece of architecture that is easily recognised at first glance. So of course, it caught my eye. I love the colours and textures of it. The angle makes me curious what the book is going to talk about. The way it is presented is inviting.
‘When you do a good deed, people are grateful, and that creates a nice feeling inside you; and then because it feels good, that makes you want to do more good deeds. That repetition is the cycle of goodness.’

The cover is calm and goes well with the title of the book. It exudes a kind of attraction once one lay eyes on it.

The cover was amazing. It really embodied both the word calm and deceptive. It was actually the reason that made me want to read the book. The whimsical and, the same time, eerie feel of the cover really makes it better.

I like the mirror-like depiction of the bridge. It kind of explains the title because only one part of the mirror can be real and the other is deceptive. The color tones shows the calm obviously.

The book's cover is quite appealing. When I started reading it, I noticed that I was pulled to it even though at first I didn't give it much thought. I find myself drawn to its peaceful aura. Its charm is enhanced by its simplicity, and I find the idea behind it to be incredibly intriguing.

While I must admit that the book cover won't immediately draw you in to read the book, I think that including the birth certificate that started it all was tastefully well done, hinting at its vital importance to Vanessa's story.
