Marjan's book, Fasting Firepower, is not only a book but also a guide to fasting, detoxification, and natural healing. It is an insightful book that explains the importance of fasting and posits fasting as an effective way of eliminating toxins that have accumulated in the body over the years as a result of consuming artificial foods and harmful chemicals that are heavily used in the production of modern-day foods, which we consume daily as they are the most readily available source of food in our environment today. The author advocates fasting as an essential part of life that should be adopted by all and sundry, as it comes with many benefits like mental clarity, emotional wellness, spiritual awareness, spiritual development, prolonged health, and so on. At its core, the book gives proper information on how to go about fasting, what type of fasting one should embark on, when to refrain from fasting, when to fast, where to fast, the duration of the fast, who shouldn’t fast, and how it helps the organs in our bodies.

A very commendable feature of the book is the author’s incorporation of personal life experiences into the book gotten from personal observations, life experiences, and personal practical activities, which serves as a reference point for readers and a very insightful source of inspiration for anyone who comes across it. Also, I like the author’s reference to biblical texts through the course of the book, as each chapter has its own unique scriptural citation that describes the content of the chapter.

I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because I didn’t find anything displeasing about the book. Also, no errors were found, which is an indication that the book was well edited. I believe the book serves as a powerful tool for people to learn, understand, and equip themselves with knowledge that they can use to improve their health, lifestyle, and lives in general. I believe that when the knowledge embedded in the book is applied correctly, it would help reduce the risk of diseases and illnesses and generally promote a healthy world filled with healthy individuals.
