This book relates to a disease, which, when someone talks about it, has a deep impact on anyone's mind due to its silent and deadly nature. The fact that the author has survived it makes anybody feel confident.

The review is also good in the sense that it tells about the group of readers who may like the book most.

'"Stage Fright" is a memoir written by this multiple-time advanced-stage cancer survivor. It describes his healing journey and offers 15 rules for dealing with cancer.'
I'll really like to see the link between the title of this book and the memoir in it.

The book is a memoir documenting the author's battle with cancer. He was a high powered executive at BP and an avid golfer, yet he didn't let the diagnosis derail him. He dishes nuggets of wisdom that are applicable to daily life. His wife's involvement proves that a strong support system is crucial for navigating trying times.

This book highlights the author's cancer story. I like that the book is short and to the point. The book has elements of humour that balance out the seriousness of everything. I look forward to reading this book. Congratulations on making botd!

This positive attitude, combined with his sense of humor, made the book uplifting rather than depressing, as I had expected from a cancer book.
- Its always good to have a sense of humor, especially when one has a terminal illness. It makes it easier to cope wirh. The author has lived life the best he can and now shows us to do it, even if we're not terminally ill. Great job on the review. Thank you.

Stage Fright sounds like such an inspiring memoir. I love how the author’s positive attitude and humor shine through, making the book uplifting rather than heavy. The personal stories and simplified medical explanations make it seem so relatable. Definitely a must-read for anyone looking to appreciate life’s little moments.

Your review of Stage Fright really captures the uplifting tone of John Gore's memoir, which is unexpected for a book about cancer. I appreciate how you highlighted his positive attitude and sense of humor throughout his journey. It’s inspiring to hear that he didn’t let bad news control his life, and his approach to simplifying medical terminology sounds like it makes the book more accessible to a wider audience. The 15 cancer-coping rules seem valuable not only for those battling illness but for anyone looking to navigate life's challenges with resilience. I also like how you mentioned Toni’s unwavering support, as it seems to add a touching element to the story. The only downside you mentioned was the complexity of his work at BP, but it’s good to know that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Thanks for the thorough and thoughtful review—I’m looking forward to reading this book!

As a person who has seen first hand what suffering and trauma cancer can bring, this book is a strong motivation and a lesson that despite all that happiness and humor prevails. It offers a touching and crucial account of a battle with cancer while still managing to be relatable and portraying John Gore as a strong and charismatic character. A must read

This book aims both to give hope and enlighten and offers powerful rules for dealing with cancer. The author has survived advanced stages of cancer three times and, in his own words, "Surviving cancer more than once is a gift worth sharing." Thanks for the review!

Please don't get me wrong, since I mean no disrespect to anyone, but in my opinion, the literature of this type is way too grave and a heavy subject to serve a good purpose. I was never able to perceive the story of suffering and impending loss of beloved indifferently. Not because of great empathy, but simple human sympathy. Apologies, I will have to pass the book, but still congrats on BOTD!

Stage fright by John Gore is memoir that details his fight with cancer and how to go about it. I love books that incorporate personality and it is without a doubt that John is a jovial individual based on the accounts he provides. Congratulations on BOTD John!

The"Stage Fright"is a memoir written by this multiple time advanced stage cancer survivor,it describes his healing journey and offers is rules for dealing with cancer.
Gore described himself as someone who enjoyed golfing and when the first symptom of the illness appeared,he wondered if he would miss his golf trip.l like his positive attitude because he never let bad news control his life. This positive attitude combined with his sense of humor, made the book uplifting rather than depressing as I had expected from a cancer book.
This book showed how Toni ,the author's wife, was always by his side . They developed a genuine affection for each other from their college days and her common sense aided his battle several times.
