This sounds like a helpful book offering a refreshing perspective on managing the chaos of everyday life and taking charge of one's life. I also like the fact that it is a short read. Thanks for the review!

I appreciate the detailed review! The concept of minimizing distractions and focusing on priorities is something I think we all need in today's fast-paced world. The use of the Eisenhower Matrix to help with prioritization is particularly intriguing, as it's a method I’ve found helpful in my own life. The book's title and the metaphor of being 'pecked to death by ducks' is such a relatable image—especially in the context of dealing with endless small distractions that build up over time. It sounds like the book’s concise format and actionable advice make it a practical read for anyone looking to streamline their life. The focus on mindfulness, especially in relation to the internet, seems like an essential reminder. Thank you for your thorough review!

My favorite title of all his books.
Love this authors tongue in cheek style and spin on his adventures through life. My love of travel spurred my enjoyment of the authors far flung travels. Daring feats against all odds and weather are just a few reasons to keep reading.

Hi @ Leonie Vermaak, I just read your comments on the official review of "Pecked to Death by Ducks" and I was intrigued by the title, and I was surprised that it was a self-help book. Two of the last few BOTDs have been written by Brandon and I found both books to be helpful and worth reading. @Mrlefty0706

Most of the times we focus on things we shouldn't worry about, and it is a great thing to read that we shouldn't worry that much.

The book sounds really informative. It provides us with lots of information, lots of advice, examples and exercises on how to detach ourselves from harmful habits, how to set boundaries and clear that mental and physical clutter that is driving us crazy

This sounds like a timely review, given how easy it is for us to be consumed by small tasks, and overwhelmed by things that aren't too significant in the grand scheme of things. I will keep an eye out for this book as an option for review! Thank you for sharing your input and I look forward to reading more of your reviews soon.
I am an avid reader. I typically read 1-2 books per week. I enjoy a wide array of genres including Sci Fi, Action/Thriller, and Historical Fiction.

As a geologist and christian, I also particularly enjoy books on science and faith.
