“The Solution is Political Revolution” by Jillion R. Rising takes a deep dive into America’s political and economic scene. Rising talks about creating jobs, the role of government, and how regulations affect us, all while pushing for jobs that boost the economy. Rising uses history to show why unity is crucial in facing today’s problems. The book is well-written and error-free, presenting Rising as a forward-thinking leader. He mixes his knowledge of American life with solid research to tackle the big issues in politics and governance.

The book is a wake-up call, shedding light on how those in power manipulate the system for their gain, leaving everyday people to bear the brunt. He explains the close ties between the government and financial institutions and how moving away from the gold standard has impacted the economy, using clear visuals to back up his points. Rising critiques certain government programs for damaging the economy and highlights who ends up paying the price. He also explores the history of revolutions, like the American and French Revolutions, showing how they’ve led to positive change. While acknowledging the risks, Rising argues that political revolutions are necessary for real change and urges people to unite and take action for a fairer society.

I appreciated the book’s positive outlook. It doesn’t just criticize but also offers solutions. The author highlights how focusing on diversity can distract from government failures. The idea that a united voice can make a difference is especially relevant today. It encourages readers to think creatively and reminds them of their power to influence the government. The book is empowering, urging people to get involved and take action. Rising talks about the importance of grassroots movements and civic engagement, giving readers a sense of control over big issues. I found nothing to dislike about this book. It was exceptionally well edited.

If you’re curious about how the American government really operates, I strongly suggest reading this book. It makes a clear case for the need for political revolution and change, especially given the current financial and social issues. This book is perfect for anyone interested in American politics, from political science students and activists to everyday citizens who want to understand the challenges and opportunities for change in the U.S. political system. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
