What attracts me most is how the author realizes the scriptures, particularly in the case you wrote about Abraham and Sarah. Quite interesting is how known stories are looked at using metaphorical and literary definitions.
The clinical approach you propose, which enunciates respect for the “old” stance while providing the reader with “new” information, appears to be a recipe for productive imagination. I like books that do not spoon-feed the readers with the answers but challenge and inspire them to arrive at their understanding of the concepts.
Your remarks about the thorough investigations and editing free of errors are a great comfort too. It is never boring to read something that has been well structured and polished, especially when it is about difficult subjects.
On the basis of your review, I would probably add this book to my reading list. Would you suggest that it is aimed at an audience of varied biblical backgrounds or only those fluent in the scriptures? Thank you again for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review. It is handy for understanding what the book “The Divinely Sinful Saints” has in store.

I like the fact that the book was written in a way that those seeking the truth from the bible and those seeking to understand the intricacies of the bible to read.
