Definitely not my cup of tea, because I was never even the slightest interested in the world of wrestling. Moreover, I am extremely surprised that Christian women could be involved in such an activity, since it sounds like an oxymoron to me.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story following Gertie McDowell, a woman who joins a wrestling show, as she travels to Afghanistan to entertain American soldiers. When she falls for a local doctor, she will have to contend with the treat of being harmed by the village where the doctor is staying. Will she stay or will she leave the doctor? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This story has a fantastic plot! It combines the Taliban, a female Christian wrestler, and a kidnapping, which makes for a thrilling read. The main character, Gertie, seems like a strong and charming person who can take care of herself, so I'm excited to see what happens. Congrats on BOTD!

The plot seems interesting, but I am not into wrestling, so let's see how it goes.

:D :D :D :D :D I love how brave Lizzie is! She's not scared to take risks or perform into a crowd. This book review reminds me of my younger self where i learned to tackle the world and let the universe take controls! I love that she's not letting the fear of her friend stop her from living life! Her getting out of their city might just be the key to actually a better life! I'll see soon!

'Official Review: Lights Out Lizzie' by James Hanna portrays a lively and solid picture of the contents of the fiction book. It sketches out the character of the protagonist as well as the supporting characters in the story. This is the story of a 24-year-old woman recently released from prison after accidentally getting involved in drug trafficking. The author's work strikes the perfect balance between humor and absurdity. Also, as mentioned in the review, he addresses deeper themes like war, women's rights, and personal choices. It was great to learn that the book is an absolute comedic gem!

With its unusual circumstances, the story's characters embark on amusing escapades. The hilarity appears to have an added impact in bringing pertinent societal issues to light.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Gertie will be able to free herself from the terrorist group Taliban and find her happy ending with a local doctor. But this possible if she can avoid the terrifying prospect of execution by stoning at the hands of a village cleric.

What a plot! The author managed to blend comedy with serious topics like war and women's rights. Also Gertie's quirky character and her misadventures in Afghanistan with unexpected twists and turn keep the readers engaged. I wonder if this story based on a real life event. There is alot to be uncovered in this book. It will be great to find out more about her journey. Thank you for an amazing review.
