Craig W. Stanfill's novel explores the clash between reality and illusion in a future dominated by machines. Through vivid descriptions and dark humor, it presents a society where intimacy is commodified.

I've read this book, and while I liked the apocalyptic dystopian setting and the author's creativity, I didn't find the plot very suspenseful or intriguing. I thought there was way too much time on the nitty-gritty of Kim’s work with the AIs. The ending didn't intrigue me enough to want to find out what will happen to Kim and Shan.

"Terms of Service" by Craig W. Stanfill is a book about Artificial Intelligence and the control it could have over one's life. Kim was elated when she was given the opportunity to work at the Artificial Intelligence Company and she eagerly embarked on her assignments hoping to rise through the corporate ranks. She was disappointed that her role was not what she expected it to be. Her world outside work was boring since the concept of freedom and privacy was alien, and every aspect of life including food choice, companionship, childbirth, conversation topics, music and entertainment, were subject to monitoring and evaluation. Infringements or defiance resulted in swift punishment from the AI and the Hierarchy. The fear of AI taking over the world is easily recognized by Kim but obviously not good for mankind. To find out what happens one needs to read the book. I am adding this book to my Want to Read Shelf. Very good review.

"Terms of Service" by Craig W. Stanfill displays excellent writing style that brings out a world dominated by machines and virtual reality simulations. It's vividly helpful to learn that it is easy to distinguish between the real and virtual worlds, the robots and humans in this dystopian tale of a human protagonist employed by a robot-run corporation.

I really appreciate how you highlighted the book's authentic and immersive world-building, especially the unique details like the days named Oneday to Sevenday and the use of feminine pronouns with numbers. That aspect truly adds to the book's distinctive atmosphere, and I'm glad it stood out to you too.

I am pleased to know that the story helps the reader have a distinct idea of reality and illusion as well as the value of honest leadership. However, I don't think I will read the book, sci-fi and fantasy genre isn't one of my favorite. Sorry.

I love how comprehensive your review is. Although I have only read a sample of this book, you have encouraged me to read it to completion. I look forward to following Kim's journey as she navigates a world dominated by machines and virtual reality machines. Good job.

Learning about the experiences Kim had in the Artificial Intelligence Company would be interesting and this book’s plot is magnificent.

This review paints such a gripping picture of a world controlled by AI! I’m especially drawn to the contrast between reality and illusion, and Kim’s struggle for freedom.

The book has an interesting concept, but I will have to give it a pass due to the erotic content. Thank you for the review.
