Kim was excited to work for high-level AI that has the capability of spawning hundreds of different personas and multitasking. But later she realised how her actions are leading to a world without freedom since AI punishes those that defy the path given to them. This is an interesting science fiction novel.

The reviewer does a great job of capturing the oppressive atmosphere in *Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice* by Craig W. Stanfill. I find it fascinating how the author contrasts a supposedly utopian world, driven by unity and equality, with Kim's struggle for individuality and freedom. The depiction of a society where even companionship and food choice are controlled by AI creates a chilling reflection of how technology might overreach. The reviewer’s point about the authenticity of the world, with details like the days named from Oneday to Sevenday, enhances my interest in this dystopian narrative. However, I share their concern about the unnecessary emphasis on drugs and alcohol, which detracts from the otherwise powerful themes of control and resistance. Overall, the review highlights the book’s strengths and its thought-provoking nature, especially in light of today’s technological advancements.

This review highlights a thought-provoking exploration of a controlled world dominated by AI and virtual reality. The vivid descriptions and relatable characters seem to bring the setting to life, making the struggles of Kim resonate deeply. The unique premise and emphasis on the contrast between freedom and oppression are intriguing, and I would definitely consider reading it to delve into this compelling narrative.

Kim's journey at the Artificial Intelligence Company begins with excitement and ambition, but soon evolves into a reflection on the monotony and weight of her work. As she strives to interact with the higher-ranked AIs, like the multifaceted Order Four, she finds herself overwhelmed by the realization of the complexity and implications of her role. The story delves into her internal struggle, as she wrestles with the unfamiliar memories and fears that haunt her, questioning her place in a world where artificial intelligence blurs the lines between reality and perception.

I find AI a scary tool, and am eager to read this book highlighting the issues when it is used by ill-meaning people. Robots having authority over people - a scary thought. Fanaticism and discrimination presented as compassion and care - that's something already happening also without AI. I look forward to discovering this book.

The review was well described. The book seems to surround the beaten plot of quasi, science fiction, futurism and AI. Perhaps we will discover an author with a unique perspective to tell a story minus the addition of erotic sec that has no relevance. The book 📕 is not my genre of interest.
We do not have problems only solutions waiting to be discovered.

This is an impressive review! You described the book in simple terms for a layman to understand. I also like the fact that you spotted out the excessive use of drugs and alcohol to induce intimacy which I didn't also like. Nice job... Bravo!

Does Kim believe her goal justifies all of what she has willingly sacrificed? The prospect of living in such a world is dreadful. The narrative sounds gripping and thought-provoking. Thank you for a great review! Adding this one to my reading list.

I love the whole concept of this story. With the current (scary) advances in AI right now, this story could be a glimpse into our dystopian future. I'm looking forward to reading this.

I love this type of story where we step away from reality and back into it again, it’s so tantalising. The review has given me a good summary of what to expect, thank you.
