This appears to be an appropriate piece for the current situation America finds itself in, and similarly, we in the UK are finding. We need to remember the values of our respective countries, what we stand for, and what made us great. I'm interested to read more of the letters and poems.

I think Americans will mostly benefit from reading this book because this is most specifically relatable to them although the subject matter is applicable to many countries where corruption and discrimination topics, to name a few being discussed in the book, exist in leaps and bounds.

Congrats on BOTD.
Jayme Alencar de Oliveira Filho's book "American Papers: My Love Letters to America" sounds fantastic. The book discusses contemporary concerns and advocates for America's Renaissance. Although the book is inspirational for Americans, it can impart valuable lessons to people everywhere for their own countries.

'Official Review: American Papers: My Love Letters to America' by Jayme Alencar de Oliveira Filho focuses on the special attributes that have made Americans stand out among the rest. Long journeys have shaped America and the existence of its people. The book is a timely intervention to the issues of conspiracy, hatred, discrimination, greed, manipulation, and divisive politics. Readers will enjoy reading 'American Poem' and be grateful for America's rich natural and human resources. Also, the book covers the aspects of the existential struggles of Americans, the instruments and institutions of American governance, and the unique attributes of the American population. It was great to learn that citizens of other countries will draw some insights from the book to shape their history and existence!

“American Papers: My Love Letters to America” by Jayme Alencar de Oliveira Filho sounds just like the book that many Americans need to read to rekindle the honor and love they should have for America. The state of our current country is in sever decline and many people are hopeless and do not see any hope for our future. Reading something like this could provide a reminder of what made this country great at one time.

Indeed, even the richest nations are not immune to trials and difficulties. I have family in the US, but I live in the Philippines. Still, it would be interesting to read these letters.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book and it was edited so well. I liked how the author said he wasn't born in America, but he was born an American. After reading your review, I decided to add it to my list of books to read. I would like to see what he says about pride in America and how much things have changed in recent decades.

You are correct, the younger generation of Americans don't appreciate what those before them went through. This book is a timely reminder and I hope it reaches its desired audience.
