An intriguing collection of horror and science fiction stories, this anthology seems to be. This book is even more intriguing and fascinating because the stories include details that the readers can't help but remember.

"Disarrhoea" by Kevin Vodden sounds too intriguing to pass up, so I'm definitely going to give it a read. The combination of sci-fi, horror, and clever storytelling, along with the unique and unsettling premises of each story, promises to be captivating. I can't wait to dive into the imaginative and thought-provoking worlds he has created. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Disarrhoea sounds like such a unique and chilling collection! I love the blend of speculative fiction, horror, and macabre humor—those elements always make for an unforgettable read. The fact that it was written before COVID makes it even more eerie and intriguing. Definitely going to check this one out

This is a great review! I sampled the opening episode of Disarrhoea, with the account of the first day of the lockdown and the car accident where the driver rammed into a lamp post. I agree that the story feels realistic and the writer's style is straight and no-nonsense. I also enjoyed the diary-style narrative and found it hard to put down. I am happy to learn from your review that it is only one of six awesome stories that await me in this book!

It has been a while since I have read a sci-fi horror book. It looks like the characters linger in your mind, even after finishing the book. A well-deserved BotD!

"Disarrhoea" seems engaging, blending sci-fi with horror, though I will pass it as thehorrifying lines, which hit hard and stick to the reader's mind after the story is over might give me a hard time to get over it. Congratulations on BOTD!

What an insightful review! It sounds like Kevin Vodden has crafted some truly chilling and thought-provoking tales. I’m especially intrigued by the blend of sci-fi and horror, and the premise of "Disarrhoea" really grabbed my attention—an airborne pathogen leading to societal collapse? That's intense! I also love that you mentioned the realism and scientific accuracy. It seems like this anthology is both imaginative and grounded, which is always a great combo.

The way you described everything sounded bubbly and enjoyable. I've already sampled the first story and it's exactly as you said. It was a great review and enjoyable to read at that!

Really appreciate this review, how it briefly explains each of the stories as well as the mentions about the lenght and style of the text. At first I wasn't interested in reading the book, but knowing it's horror focused, as well as the plot of each story, I'm way more interested!
