I have to say it looks as if it's going to be interesting and relatable. My first thought in reading was the COVID virus and how everything was shut down and we were bound to our homes. Definitely a book I would love to discuss during a book club meeting.

There's something both frightening and thrilling about horror tales. I see myself consuming every single page of this book. This one interests me a lot.

The book reminded me of our quarantine time during the spread of Corona Virus. I felt I was reading someone's diary. "Disarrhoea" is actually one of the story's title, so book's name could have been different. With inclusion of scientific jargons, couldn't comprehend the story. Nicely reviewed!

"Disarrhoea" by Kevin Vodden is a collection of six sci-fi horror stories. The story called "Disarrhoea" is probably the most interesting story with the theme of an airborne pathogen that leads to the breakdown of society.

When this book previously won BOTD in 2022, I commented that I was really impressed by the sample. I remember "Disarrhoea" to this day. Now that I get to read the entire book (all six stories) for free, I'm on cloud nine. I'm grateful to the talented author!

'Vodden's first tale, "Disarrhoea", launches straight into the action, establishing a disturbing premise where people are trapped indoors, unable to leave their homes.'
Just like the COVID times? Interesting!

"Disarrhoea," by Kevin Vodden, features six stories, each portraying unique and different scenarios such as a disorienting pathogen, a dangerous carnival ride, planetary exploration, giant wasps, a gruesome cooking show, and intelligent pets.

I found this review of *Disarrhoea* by Kevin Vodden to be highly insightful, particularly in highlighting the author's ability to blend science fiction and horror seamlessly. The summary of each story showcases Vodden's range, from the societal breakdown in "Disarrhoea" to the eerie carnival atmosphere of "Fearground." I appreciate the mention of the author's realistic writing style, like the use of believable names and text messages, which adds authenticity to the futuristic settings. The reviewer’s praise of "The Matryoshka Loop" as a favorite also intrigued me, especially with its mind-bending exploration of alternate realities. Additionally, the mention of strong, sudden lines that linger long after the story ends makes me eager to experience Vodden's storytelling. Overall, this review does a great job of emphasizing the anthology's strengths and makes it clear why it earned a 4-star rating.

Diarrhea, a book of the sci-fic genre, featuring the 'exploration of an unknown planet by colonist from earth.' This seems attractive to read too.

One thing about Kevin Vodden is the ability create masterpieces that mixes science fiction with spices of horror and dark humors. This book is one with theoretic and speculative scenarios.

The book "Disarrhoea" sets a narrative about a father and his children stuck at home during a toxic event.
This masterpiece holds the ability to evoke the sense of claustrophobia and experiencing situation deteriorating rapidly.

Overall, I admire Kevin Vodden's skilful storytelling. This book is a must-read for any one who enjoys unique literary experience.

I'm intrigued by Kevin Vodden's "Disarrhoea" and am eager to learn more. The blend of horror and science fiction, together with creative narrative techniques and unnerving concepts in every story, should make for an interesting read. I can't wait to explore the imaginative and provocative worlds he has constructed.

Thank you for your great review on Kevin Vodden’s book, "Disarrhoea". This six short story intriguing read leaves the unknown to the reader’s imagination. This anthology involves some morbid concepts. For instance, one story stood out with its dark humor. “Fearground” was extremely vivid with the ringmaster’s depiction of each ride. Even riding the train between tents was dangerous. Despite the darkness of the story, I could laugh at the dry humor. I don't normally read horror stories but this book with the sense of humor has caught my attention and with it being temporarily free on Amazon I have put it on my shelf. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.
