A unique case related to corporate espionage. A female detective who is struggling with some recent personal troubles is to conduct this inquiry. The initial chapter opens to a confrontation. I sampled a couple of chapters and the author's writing style is amazing.

This review does a good job in capturing the relevant aspects of the book, tho I must say, there's too much plot and multiple characters storylines. Just from the review I felt a bit overwhelmed, not really my style of story.

Fortune Cookie" by John R. Johnson Definitely caught my attention because there’s nothing better than a good thriller which excites the mind and leaves you thinking “what’s next?”. You already want to know how the story unfolds from the beginning and you can’t wait to find out how it ends. Amazing job by the author and also amazing review. Congratulations on making BOTD.

The book sounds really exciting and with all those twists and turns, the murder investigation that turned into an industrial espionage as well as topics like trust, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of truth the book will definitely keep you on edge from the beginning till the very end.
