This book isn't for me; however for Christians who find the bible heavy-going, this summarized version will be a huge benefit for them.

I like that there is a guide to make reading the Bible easier. I think it should be read by everyone because of the universal message of salvation contained in the Bible. Thanks for the review.

A book dedicated to helping Christians find their ground in faith and a better understanding of God's love and passion for them would always catch my attention any day anytime. Better still when it contains a summary of the Bible.

I commend the author for making the reading the Bible easier for Christians or anyone who finds it hard to appreciate what it wants to convey. This book is for those who believe in God and His purpose in sacrificing His only son Jesus to save mankind.

I respect the beliefs and perspectives shared in this review and I believe that understanding Jesus's role, his life, and the concept of salvation has many interpretations in the divine faiths. Still, it might emphasize that salvation comes through following the guidance of God, and living a life of good deeds, rather than through the atonement of original sin. The message of faith and striving for a righteous life is something all religions emphasize, though the means to that salvation vary. While I may not fully agree with the theological conclusions of the book, I appreciate the author's effort to make scripture more accessible to those who seek understanding in their faith.

I applaud the author for summarizing the new and old testament of the Bible, making it easy for those who find it difficult to read the it as it is. It's good the they are encouraging people to work towards their salvation. And adding their experience about their faith in God and a strong belief in Jesus is quite remarkable. I would love to read the book, but I guess I'll pass it. I rarely read book in this genre. I hope other readers will find this book inspiring and educational.

Could the Bible be summarized with a few explanations into a short book? That is quite incredible and remain to be seen. You may want to grab a copy of "The History of Jesus: The Bible in a Nutshell" by William Davis to find out if this claim is valid.
It is highly recommended for Christians only. Happy reading!

It is true that some people find the Bible hard to read and understand. A lot of people I'm sure haven't ever read the whole Bible. I've read it twice and there are still things I don't understand. This book should inspire Christians to read the whole Bible, probably not understand every verse, but understand the overarching messages. Thank you for your informative review.

It's interesting to hear that the author, William Davis, successfully created a "story-like" reading experience, rather than a traditional approach. It seems like the author, William David has achieved his goal of making people want to read Bible more. Your review has definitely piqued my interest in checking it out as well. I appreciate your insights on the characters & the flow of the book. It increased in reading Bible, even if I haven't read much of it before. Thanks again for sharing!

Unfortunately, I will have to pass this book, because not only I don't like reading non-fiction and especially literature related to subjects of religion, inspiration and motivation. No offense meant to anyone, just my personal taste, and while the book might sound awesome, I prefer my own understanding of spiritually and divine intervention. Still, congratulations on BOTD!
