How many books do you read at once?

Usually, I only read one book at a time, but under certain circumstances, I may read 2 books at once.

3-4, my friend will tell me about a good book then I will start reading it so I don't forget about it, then there are the books that are required to read for school.

I only read one book at a time. I think I would get confused if I tried to do more than one. Although when I did my GCSEs I did read my school book (To Kill A Mockingbird) alongside other books.

I tend to only read one book at a time unless it is a novel and a reference book. Then I can split my attention long enough to read one of each at one time.

I can only read one book at a time. I feel like once I open that book, I am devoted to it. I am one of those people that every spare second I may have in my day, I need that book in my hand and I will carry a book around with me everywhere I go just incase I have a spare moment to read.

I can only do one book at a time. I give props to those who do multiple. I find myself getting confused if I end a book then start another one right away. This might be because I read the same genre mostly and they are similar at times. Anyway, I'm a monogamous reader!

I think that I prefer to read one book at a time, as you can really get attached to the characters before leaving them or joining them in a sequel.

Several as a rule. A non fiction to learn. A fiction as an easy read when not too much concentration is needed. A classic- possibly a re read, and I always have a Shakespeare play on the go to dip in and out of for pure inspiration.
