This book looks very interesting, and I would really like to give it ago. However, I'm not fluent in psychiatric terminology or philosophical terms. I understand a bit, but it sounds as though this book would be beyond my understanding. As you said, if the book had a direct approach, more people would be able to get into it. Shame really, but thankyou for your review.

This book openly shares the consequences of the digital age on mental health and because of its profound insights and urgent relevance it may be a vital resource for therapists and mental health professionals. However, its dense prose might limit its appeal to a broader audience. Great job with the review!

Reconceptualizing Mental Illness in the Digital Age" by Elliott B. Martin, Jr is an important book that deserves public attention owing to the topics it discussed. Mental Health has been a major problem in today's world leading to clutter of people's minds, engaging in abnormal or sometimes criminal activities. I will keenly follow this book to learn from the authors point of view.

This is definitely an innovative book: one on mental health in our modern digital age. Wouldn't you be interested in learning about what is happening to mental illnesses in this modern world? Although a little dense at times, this book offers a lot of insight; what I find most relevant is how it explores anxiety, isolation, and depression, and how they are wreaking havoc all around the globe.

This book focuses on the connection between society and technology, as well as how it affects our mental health. It illustrates how technology has touched us positively as well as badly. Although this book's concept is intriguing, the review indicates that its uncomfortable text structure and use of philosophical or psychiatric words made it difficult for me to decide whether or not to pick it up. Thus, I'll overlook it.

I have been accustomed to theories and researches about how social media has been affecting mental health nowadays. I myself have been developing better habits than staying and scrolling in Social Media for long hours. I’m glad there’s a Psychologist who decided to write about this interesting topic. I can’t wait to read it.

This book 'covers an up-to-date subject in an in-depth way. It walks the readers through the development of the ideas of mental health, the history, contemporary problems in mental health, and social media.'
Mental health and social media sensitization sounds educational.

"Reconceptualizing Mental Illness in the Digital Age" by Elliott B. Martin, Jr. is a thought-provoking, well-researched exploration of mental health, technology, and societal implications, earning 4 out of 5 stars for its insightful analysis despite dense, complex prose.
The difference between taking and giving, and taking and not giving is the difference between life and death.

Definitely not my cup of tea, both because I don't like reading non-fiction and because, despite the seriousness of the topic, I am not interested in studying any type of mental illness. Sorry, I will have to pass, but congratulations with BOTD, anyway!
