Thank you for your review. I sampled 23 pages of the book. The author's ancient history interpretation was interesting. This book should be required reading for history and economics in high school.

Good review. I'm sure this will be an interesting book for readers who enjoy reading about what effect past events had on the present. I however will give this a skip as. Congrats on BOTD.

Since this upcoming election, I have been learning more and more about the economy. In order to learn how we got to where we are right now, we will have to pay attention to the past. I cannot wait to learn the history of America's economic system.

It's great that David Rajan has written a book that talks about the economy—past, present, and future. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll pass on this book.

The desire to secure future sustenance sounds like another way of saying ensuring survival. That is a powerful force to drive change. It will be interesting to read the author's views on the data age and AI, etc. Thank you for your informative review.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book and it was professionally edited. I did like how he explained economics. I would like to read more about how economics and people work hard to buy food, etc. where they hadn't worried about it before. I've added it to my list of books to read.

I am so far from this topic in my specialty that even after reading this in detail review, I still have no idea what to do with this book. At the same time, the subject is very important, therefore I gratefully accept the generous gift and hope that reading the book itself will allow me to gain more understanding. Thanks and congrats on BOTD!

The world economy has undergone significant changes and growth in the last couple of centuries. This book provides a very important outlook of these stages of economic growth relating to the past, present and future. It provides economic metrics and indicators of the transition from the communal economy to the social economy, the social economy to the market economy, and now from the market economy to the data economy of today. The book provides key highlights of a future economy possibly driven by AI along with its ramifications.
