This isn't one of my favorite genres of books, but David Rajan's effort in this work is highly commendable, especially based on reviews. He provides a thorough rundown of the factors that have driven humanity from one social structure to the next, from hunter-gatherer societies to modern civilizations. The effort he puts into describing these concepts is commendable, and many people will gain valuable knowledge from it. Congrats on BOTD!

This novel is educational, helping readers understand how economies change. The driving force is the need to secure the future. It’s more than just that! Learn how the transition from communal economy to current data economy took place.

The author takes readers to the past via a financial lens. He analyzes factors that have driven humanity from one social structure to the next, and caps that with triggers that have ushered new economic models. Readers will find the book informative and enlightening. It's a plus that the book has been thoroughly researched.

I would love to read this book. The title caught my attention, as did the description—"a unique exploration of human history through the lens of economics." Congrats on BOTD!
